Yosemite National Park provides a new way for Yosemite winter enthusiasts to stay connected
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif., December 20, 2012 ? California?s original ski area Badger Pass, now offers a high-definition webcam offering skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to check current conditions and watch the action on the slopes even if they are thousands of miles away.?
Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Yosemite, concessionaire for Badger Pass, installed the first high-definition webcam located at the family-friendly Badger Pass Ski Area. The webcam is a wide-angle lens that covers the base area and mountain from the Eagle Chair Lift to the Eagle Run. Pixelcaster is the manufacturer of the camera, which is the same webcam provider for the Yosemite Conservancy webcams throughout the park. ?Badger Pass Ski Area?s webcam can be viewed at YosemitePark.com/badger-webcam.aspx. Images can be enlarged, and the web page allows images to be directly shared through social media.
